H S Sons Transport

Our office is tucked away in Gokul Park, right on Plot No. 356 in Ward 12-B. If you know Gandhidham, you know Tagore Road can get pretty hectic with all the traffic. That’s just life at H S Sons Transport. We spend most of our time staring at clipboards or talking to drivers on their mobile phones to see where they’ve reached. P.O Box 49 is where the mail goes, but the real action is out in the yard. There is always a truck that needs a repair or a driver who needs his papers sorted before he can head out to the next state. We have stacks of logbooks that seem to grow every single week. It’s a lot of coordinating and hoping the roads are clear. Sometimes we sit around the office drinking chai while we wait for a delivery to arrive late at night. The walls are a bit dusty from the road outside, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it’s our space. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s honest work, even if it’s stressful when a shipment gets delayed or a tire blows out in the middle of nowhere. We just try to keep the wheels moving and the customers from calling too often to ask about their cargo.
