Sri Bhushan Industrial Steel Corporation

We are over here at Plot No.15 in the Mundargi Industrial Area. It’s the first stage of the park, right on Bengaluru Road. Sri Bhushan Industrial Steel Corporation has been running out of this spot for a while now. Most mornings start early because the trucks coming off the main road don't like to wait. You can hear the metal clanging against the trailers from a few plots away. It's a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the industrial estate, but we’re used to it. The office is nothing fancy, just a place to keep the papers dry and take a seat when the sun gets too hot. We deal with a lot of industrial steel, so there is always something heavy being moved around. The guys know the routine by heart. Sometimes the traffic on Bengaluru Road makes it hard for the bigger loads to get out, but we manage. We aren’t a huge corporate office with fancy glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a yard and a workshop where people work hard. There is a tea stall down the road where most of us head during the break. Mundargi is a busy place, and being at Plot 15 puts us right in the middle of all that noise and movement. We just keep our heads down and get the steel ready for whoever needs it that day. It’s simple work, really, even if it is heavy.
