Govt Muradwala Primary School

We’ve been running Govt Muradwala Primary School for a long time now. It is located right on Muradwala Road in the middle of Muradwala, Ferozepur. Most people around here know where we are. The building isn't very fancy and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it does the job. Every morning the kids walk in from the nearby houses and the noise starts. We have a small yard where they play during the break. It gets a bit dusty when the wind blows from the fields, but that’s just how it is in this part of Punjab. The furniture in the classrooms is old wooden stuff that we try to keep in one piece. Teachers come in early to get things ready before the bell rings. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk and some chairs where we sit to do the paperwork. Life here is simple. We teach the basics and try to make sure everyone shows up on time. On rainy days, the road outside gets a bit muddy, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. It’s a lot of work but this school has been here for the community for years. People stop by to chat or ask about their kids while they are heading to work. We just keep things moving day by day without much fuss. The bell rings at the same time every day and we start again.
