V K Jain College Of Education is out on Soro Road, specifically near Soro H and the Kasganj Railway Station. Being so close to the station, you can often hear the trains coming and going while we are in the middle of a lecture. It’s a sound we’ve all gotten used to over the years. The college is in Kasganj, with the postcode 207123. We’re mostly here to help people become teachers. It’s a quiet sort of place when the students are busy with their exams. The building is fairly straightforward with no real frills. We have a small staff who have been working here since the start. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. We just have our offices and the classrooms. Soro Road isn't the busiest place, but it has its moments. A lot of our students come from the surrounding villages and take the train to get here. You’ll see them walking from the station in the mornings. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We talk to the students like regular people because that’s what we all are. We aren't interested in being fancy. We just want to make sure the next batch of teachers knows what they’re doing.
