Baba Baijnath Degree College

Our college is situated right on Hamirpur Road in Patara, Kanpur. It is a bit away from the main city center, which gives us a bit more breathing room. The building is quite large since we have to accommodate students for various degree courses. It is a practical space designed for learning rather than looking pretty. We have lecture halls that get quite full during the peak hours of the day. The students come from all over the surrounding areas, often traveling quite a bit to get here by bus or bike. We have a small canteen where people hang out between classes and a library that stays pretty quiet. The staff here are focused on getting the students through their exams and helping them understand the material. We don't have a big PR department. Most of our energy goes into the actual teaching and managing the daily schedule. The road outside is busy with trucks and buses, but we have a bit of a campus feel once you step inside. It is a place for people who want to get their degrees without a lot of extra fluff. We handle the paperwork and the classes as efficiently as we can. It is a bit of a no-nonsense environment. We are part of the Patara community and we provide a place for higher studies right here on the outskirts of Kanpur. It keeps us busy and the students seem to find it useful to have a local option instead of going into the city.
