M. M. College

M. M. College is right on Manota Street in Kasganj. If you know the neighborhood, it's easy to find. We are in a fairly old part of town, so the streets can be narrow and crowded. The college building has been here for quite some time and it shows its age in a few spots. There are patches on the walls and the floors are worn down from all the students walking on them over the years. It’s a local spot where most people from the town come to study after they finish high school. We have different floors for different subjects. The windows stay open most of the time to let the air in, so you can hear the street noise from the classrooms. It’s just how it is in Kasganj. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day's schedule. There isn't much in the way of a fancy campus or big gardens. It's mostly just the main building and a small area out front. Most students walk here or take a rickshaw to the corner of Manota Street. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here. It's a simple institution for people in Uttar Pradesh who want to stay close to home while they learn. The gate is usually open by eight in the morning for the early classes.
