We’ve been over here at 5-B, Chasaki Wali Gali for quite some time now. If you know the old machine market near Dharm Kanta Road, you’ve probably walked right past our door. Mujessar is a busy spot, and our shop is no different. We deal with welding stuff and general metal work every day. It’s a lot of heat and noise, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most of us here have grease under our fingernails by lunch. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have our tools, our stock, and a small wooden desk where the paperwork piles up. Sometimes the road outside gets crowded with trucks and people moving heavy parts, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting through the door. We mostly just focus on getting the work done. People come in looking for specific parts or help with a machine that broke down on them. We show them what we have in the back and try to help out. It's a simple setup. Weldman India has been a part of this market landscape for years. You can hear the sounds of grinding and welding from the street. We drink tea from the stall nearby and keep the machines running. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve seen the market change over time, but the core of what we do stays the same. Just hard work in a dusty corner.
