Down at 17/6 Mehrauli Road, you will find Centrifugal Casting Co. It is a rugged place, to be honest. Casting work is messy and involves a lot of heat and heavy molds. We have been at this spot for years. The building shows its age a bit but it serves our purpose just fine. Mehrauli Road is a long stretch and we are just one of the many workshops along this way. Inside, the air is usually thick with the sound of the furnace and the rotating machines. We do not have a front desk person or a waiting room. If you come by, you will likely find us in our overalls covered in some dust or grease. It is just the way casting goes. We move heavy stuff around all day. The layout of the shop is based on where the machines fit best, not on looks. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. Dealing with metal at high temperatures means you have to stay alert. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just occupy our bit of space on the road and do what we know. The floors are stained and the walls are grey, but the equipment works and that is what matters to us. We keep our tools close and our process simple. There is no need for anything fancy when you are melting metal. It is hard work but we are used to it.
