Our office is at A-77 in Ashoka Enclave 2, right in Faridabad Sector 37. It’s a good location because it’s easy to get to from both Delhi and the rest of Faridabad. We’ve been at this address for several years now. The building is part of a regular neighborhood, so it doesn't feel like a cold business district. We have a few rooms where we manage all the export details. It’s not very fancy. There are some old chairs and desks that have seen better days, but they work fine for us. We spend our time talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. The rhythm of the day is pretty steady. We start early, have some tea, and then dive into the emails and phone calls. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating the local roads, so we have to go out and help them find the right turn. It’s a very hands-on type of business. We don't use any complicated systems, just some simple spreadsheets and a lot of notes written on scraps of paper. It’s an honest living and we like the people we work with. Sector 37 has everything we need nearby, so we don't have to go far for anything. We often sit outside for a few minutes in the evening when it’s cooler to watch the local kids play cricket in the park.
