Shri Mahavir Steel Corporation sits at Plot No. 57 in Sector 6. We are located near Shekhar Brothers, which is a well-known spot in this industrial sector. Dealing with steel means things are always heavy and usually a bit rusty before they get processed. Our yard is filled with channels, angles, and bars of all different sizes. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but it is an honest one. We spend most of the day loading and unloading trucks with the overhead hoist. The sound of metal clanging against metal is something you just stop hearing after a few months of working here. We have a small office at the front, but it is mostly used for storing files and drinking tea when the sun is too hot. We don't have any sales people in suits. We just have a couple of guys who know the weight and grade of every piece of steel in the yard. If someone needs a specific length, we cut it and load it up. We have been in Sector 6 for a long time and have seen many businesses come and go, but we just keep doing what we do. We don’t have a mission statement or any big goals other than finishing the work we have for the day. It’s a simple operation based on physical labor and knowing your inventory well enough to help the people who stop by.
