We’re over at Plot Number 71 in Sector-24. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to some of the bigger industrial hubs, but it still has its moments of being busy. Our building sits on a decent-sized plot, and we have enough space for the vans to pull in and out without too much trouble. Inside, the setup is pretty basic. We have a few offices in the front and the main work area in the back. It’s often a bit chilly in the mornings before the sun hits the roof, so we usually start the day with some hot tea. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. Most of us have worked here for a while, so we know where every single tool is kept, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the room when something needs to be decided. The gate out front sticks a little bit when it rains, and the gravel in the yard could use some leveling, but it serves our purposes just fine. We spend our time focusing on the tasks at hand rather than worrying about the decor or making the place look polished. It’s a straightforward place for straightforward work. We like the routine and the people we see every day in the neighboring plots. It feels right for us.
