We are set up at House Number 932 in Sector 17, Faridabad. It’s a bit of a residential area turned into a workspace, so it feels quite different from those high-rise buildings in Gurgaon. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day, like kids playing or vendors selling vegetables. The office itself is full of computers and large printers for the engineering drawings we produce. We work on a lot of parts for the cement industry, which means there is a lot of talk about measurements and steel grades. It isn’t a very loud place. Usually, it's just the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional phone call to a supplier. We have a small garden area out front where some of us sit during lunch. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is something everyone looks forward to. We don't really do big presentations or have fancy slogans. We just get the data we need and put it into the system. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a backup to keep the computers running. It’s a decent life here. Most of the staff has been together for a long time, so we are more like a group of friends than just coworkers. We don't spend money on advertising because the work usually speaks for itself through the clients we’ve had for years. It is a very straightforward way to earn a living.
