Vikash Bartan Bhandar is located on Dabua Pali Road in the nit area. We sell all kinds of utensils and kitchen items. It’s a shop full of shiny steel, brass, and aluminum. When you walk in, you’ll see stacks of pots, pans, and plates reaching almost to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We’ve been here for a long time, helping local families pick out what they need for their kitchens. Whether it’s a small spoon or a large pressure cooker, we usually have it somewhere in the back. Dabua Pali Road is a busy place, and we get a lot of people coming in before festivals or weddings to buy sets of dishes. The shop can be a bit noisy when people start moving the metal around to find the right size. We aren't a big showroom with fancy lights. We just have a lot of stock and a couple of fans to keep the air moving. My father started this, and now we just keep it going. We know which brands last and which ones are just okay. We don't try to push the expensive stuff if a cheaper pot will do the job just as well. It’s honest work selling things that people actually use every single day to cook for their families. If you’re ever near the nit side of Dabua Pali Road, you’ll see our stacks of steel shining. We stay open until late evening most days.
