Rohit Bartan Store

You can find the store at 80/9 in Vasant Kunj, Kishangarh, right near the rest house. It is a place full of metal, basically. We have stacks of steel plates, aluminum pots, and all kinds of spoons and ladles. Rohit is usually around, helping people find the right size of cooker or a lid that actually fits their old pot at home. It gets very loud in here when we are moving stock around because everything clangs together. We have things piled up from the floor to the ceiling, so you have to be careful when you walk through the aisles. People from the neighborhood come in when they are setting up a new kitchen or if they broke a glass. We also have those big heavy tawas for making rotis. It’s a bit dusty because of all the metal and being near the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down with a cloth. We aren't trying to be a fancy home decor shop; we just sell the stuff people actually need for cooking their meals. Sometimes a customer brings back an old item to see if we can fix a handle or a knob. We do what we can. It’s a steady kind of business, and we’ve been in Kishangarh for a good while now. The shop is small, but we try to keep every size of utensil someone might ask for. We have some plastic containers too, but mostly it is the metal stuff.
