Steel Shop

If you're looking for Steel Shop, you’ll find us at Shop No. B/265 in Nehru Ground, NIT. We are pretty close to the Neelam Cinema, which most people around here know. Our shop is small, but we pack a lot into it. We mostly deal with small-scale steel needs for local folks and contractors. Whether someone needs a few rods for a home project or some plates for a repair, we usually have something that will work. The shop can get a bit crowded with all the metal leaning against the walls. It’s just a regular local business, nothing special to look at from the outside. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know many of our customers by their first names. We don't have any big corporate policies; we just talk to people and figure out what they need. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back to find a specific piece, but that’s just how it goes. The area around Nehru Ground is always busy, especially on market days. We enjoy the noise and the people passing by. We aren't interested in opening a chain of stores or anything like that. We just want to keep running this shop and helping out the people in NIT. It’s hard work, and our clothes are usually stained with rust, but it’s a good way to spend the day. We just take things one customer at a time and hope they find what they came in for.
