Our place is at Plot No. 137 in Sector 37, specifically in Phase-Vi of Udyog Vihar. It’s a standard industrial plot, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside Snapon Tools Pvt. Ltd., it's mostly rows of metal shelves and tools everywhere. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the orders for the mechanics and shops are right. The guys here have greasy hands half the time because we’re always checking the gear or moving boxes around the floor. It’s a bit of a maze once you get past the front door. We’ve been in this part of Gurgaon for a while, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit with more buildings going up. The power goes out sometimes, which is a real pain, but we have a backup generator to keep the computers running so we don’t lose track of the sales. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. Most of our day is spent on the phone or loading up the delivery vans that sit out front. The office is small and usually has a stack of old catalogs in the corner that nobody ever looks at. It's just a normal workplace where we try to stay organized and keep the business moving along without too much fuss or extra work. We just do what is required. Some days the traffic in Udyog Vihar is so bad that it takes us forever to leave.
