Shivam Tubes

The shop is over in Sector 6, specifically units 63-64. We’ve been at this spot for quite a few years now. Most days start with opening up the shutters around nine and checking what stock came in. Shivam Tubes isn't a fancy place with a big office or anything. It’s mostly just us and the racks of metal tubes stacked up. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the lane for a bit while we unload. People come by asking for specific sizes, and we go back to find what they need. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal. We keep a small desk in the corner for the paperwork, but it’s usually covered in notes and old receipts. Our neighbors in the sector know us well by now. We handle a lot of iron and steel tubes mostly. It’s heavy work, moving things around all day. If someone calls, we usually answer unless we are busy with a load. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time for that yet. It’s just a normal workplace where things get done without much fuss. We try to keep things organized so we can find the right pipe quickly. The floor is concrete and stays pretty dusty no matter how much we sweep it. That’s just how it is when you work with these materials every day. It is a simple life here.
