Shiva Casting Works. You can find us in Lakshmi Nagar, specifically in the Gurunanak Pura area. We’re quite close to Malik Auto Centre, which is how most folks find their way to us. Working with casting is a bit of a dirty job. There is always sand, metal scraps, and a lot of heat involved in what we do. The workshop isn't the cleanest place, but that is just how it is when you’re dealing with molds and molten metal all day long. We have been doing this for years, and the space has grown a bit cramped with all the patterns and tools we’ve collected. Gurunanak Pura is a busy place, and the sounds of the neighborhood usually mix in with the noise of our machines. Sometimes it gets quite loud, but we are used to it by now. We handle various casting jobs, mostly small to medium parts that people need for their own machinery or construction work. It’s hard labor, and by the end of the shift, we’re usually covered in soot. We don’t spend much time on the computer; most of our work happens on the floor with our hands. If someone needs a piece made, they usually bring a drawing or an old part for us to look at. We just take it from there and see what we can do. It is a simple life in a busy part of Lakshmi Nagar.
