Satguru Fabrication Works

Our workshop is tucked away in Bhattha Colony over in the Sehatpur village area of Badarpur. Satguru Fabrication Works is basically just a large shed with a lot of heavy equipment inside. There is always some welding smoke in the air and the sound of hammers hitting metal. We are not hard to find if you know where Bhattha Colony is. It’s a bit of a gritty area, lots of small shops and people moving things around. We spend our days measuring out rods and fixing things that have broken. It is a lot of sweat and hard work, especially when the weather gets hot in the summer months. The floor is mostly concrete and usually has bits of metal scraps laying around until we clean up. We are just local workers doing what we know how to do. There isn't any fancy lobby or a place to sit and drink coffee. It’s strictly for the work. People from the village come by when they need something welded or a gate fixed up. We have been doing this for a good amount of time now. The street outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we try to keep the materials off the ground. It is just a simple, honest place where we focus on getting the fabrication done right. We don't really worry about making the shop look pretty as long as the tools are working.
