Saras Ispat (P) Ltd.

We are located about 1km down the Sikri Shahpur Road. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it gives us the space we need for the heavy stuff. Saras Ispat (P) Ltd. deals with a lot of iron and steel, so you can imagine it’s a pretty loud environment. There is always the sound of metal clanging or trucks idling outside waiting to load up. The yard is usually full of stacks of material. It’s dusty work, and your hands stay dirty most of the day. We don't have a big team, just a group of us who know how to handle the metal. We’ve been at this location for some time now. The road outside can get a bit rough during the rains, which makes moving the heavy loads a bit tricky. Our office is just a simple building near the gate. We keep the registers there and talk to the drivers. There’s no air conditioning in the main work area, just big fans that move the air around. We don’t spend much on decorations or anything like that. The focus is always on the stacks of steel and getting them moved to where they need to go. It’s a straightforward business. We start early in the morning and try to finish before it gets too dark. It is what we do to make a living.
