If you’re looking for us, we are over at Nehru Ground on the first floor of the B-323 building. It’s a busy spot near the NIT area and there’s always something happening outside the window. We spend most of our time dealing with heavy equipment like excavators and backhoes. The office is usually stacked with catalogs and repair manuals that have seen better days. It isn't a huge space, but it’s enough for what we need. Most of the guys are out at sites anyway, looking at machines that got stuck in the mud or have a hydraulic leak. It’s dirty work but someone has to do it. We talk to a lot of contractors who are stressed out because their project is stalled. We try to help them get their earthmoving gear back in shape so they can keep digging. Sometimes we have to hunt down parts that aren't easy to find, which involves a lot of phone calls to people we’ve known for years. The coffee in the office is usually cold because we get distracted by a phone call about a broken engine. We don’t have any fancy posters on the walls, just a calendar and some notes scribbled on the whiteboard. It’s a practical place for people who work with dirt and heavy iron all day long. That's just how we run things around here every day.
