Safal Dairy

Safal Dairy is located in Sector-37 of Faridabad City, right at the spot marked 971. We have to start our day really early, usually around four in the morning when the milk trucks arrive. That is when the work really starts and everything gets moving. The shop is a small place, mostly filled with large refrigerators and plastic crates. People from the nearby houses come by every morning to get their milk, bread, and dahi. We know many of them quite well by now. It is a very simple daily routine for us. We stack the milk packets, wipe down the counters, and wait for the morning rush to settle down. Sometimes we run out of things like eggs or butter quite early and have to tell customers to come back later in the evening. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside. It is just a local dairy where you get what you need for your tea or breakfast. We don't have a large staff, just a couple of us making sure the milk stays cold. Faridabad City is a loud place, but this corner of Sector-37 is usually a bit quieter. We see the same kids coming in after their school is over for a small snack. We keep the floor swept and the lights on until late. Handling fresh dairy means we always have to watch the clock and the temperature. It is a steady life and we are used to it.
