We are over in Faridabad at the Shubham Complex in Dayal Bagh Colony. Chaka Food is a small place we started because we liked the idea of having our own kitchen. Being near the Reliance Fresh makes it easy for people to find us when they’re out doing their groceries. The complex is always bustling with people coming and going. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just a few of us working here every day. We spend most of our time prepping ingredients and keeping the place tidy. Faridabad can be a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, so we’re always wiping down the tables and the counter. We don't have a huge menu, just the things we know how to make well. The kitchen is compact, but it gets the job done. We get a lot of young people and families from the colony. It's nice to see the same faces every week. We don't do fancy plating or have expensive furniture. It’s just basic chairs and good lighting. Sometimes the sink leaks or the delivery bike breaks down, and we just have to fix it ourselves. That’s just part of the daily routine. We open up early and stay until we’re done for the day. It’s a simple life, and we’re happy just to be a part of the local community here in Dayal Bagh. We just want to keep the stoves burning and the customers fed.
