S. I. Industries

S. I. Industries is located over at Plot No. 9 in the Badkhal Extension. We are quite close to Badkhal Lake, which is a nice landmark to have nearby, even if we don't get much time to go look at it. The area is a bit of a mix of industrial plots and smaller houses. Our place is basically a large shed where we do all our manufacturing. It’s got high ceilings and plenty of room for the materials, though we always seem to be running out of space anyway. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from where we dropped some heavy equipment years ago. We don’t mind it much. It’s a working shop, not a showroom. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of the first pot of tea. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for a long time. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. Just old clothes that can get dirty. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise if we stay late, but we try to be respectful. It's a straightforward operation. We make parts, we pack them, and we ship them out. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it at this same spot for a good while now. The truck that comes for the scrap metal is usually late, which gives us time to sit and talk. We just take it as it comes.
