Jajru Road is where you will find us. We are right by the 25 Milestone Road in Ballabhgarh. Being near the Tractor Division means there is always a lot of heavy machinery rolling past. It’s a pretty dusty environment, especially when the wind picks up. Our office is a small building that has seen better days, but it serves us well enough. We keep our boots by the door because they are usually covered in mud or dirt from the sites. Inside, there is a large map on the wall and a few calendars with dates circled in red. We drink our tea in plastic cups and talk about the progress of the current jobs. The road outside stays busy with trucks and tractors all day long. Sometimes the noise makes it hard to hear on the phone. We just step further back into the office to talk. It’s a rough and tumble kind of business, not really meant for people who like to stay clean. We spend a lot of time out on the road anyway. Ballabhgarh has grown a lot, and we’ve seen the changes from our spot near the milestone. It is just a regular construction life, full of sun and hard work. We don’t have much in the way of comforts, just the basics to keep the operations moving forward every morning. The dust never really settles but we don't mind it much anymore.
