S. D. Engineers

You can find us over at Plot No.-177 in Sector-24. It is a straightforward engineering place where we spend most of our daylight hours. The building has seen some years, but it holds everything we need to get through the daily workload. We do not really do much in the way of big meetings or anything like that. Usually, we just look at the technical drawings, grab the right tools from the rack, and get started on whatever is on the bench that day. Sector-24 is a busy spot, and there is always someone stopping by or a delivery truck trying to navigate the tight turn near our plot. The workspace is a bit cramped sometimes with all the raw materials we keep on hand, but we know where everything is kept. It is a lot of cutting, measuring, and checking things twice before they go out. Our hands are usually dirty by nine in the morning, which is fine by us. It is the kind of place where you learn by doing. We have had some of the same equipment for ages because it still works just fine and we know all its little quirks. There isn't any corporate talk here, just plain conversation about how to solve a mechanical problem or what needs to be ordered for the next week of work. We just show up, do the engineering work, and go home when the job is done for the day. It is a practical way to make a living and keep things moving.
