Rameshwar General & Cosmetics is located in the Main Market of Sarai Khawaja in Amarnagar. We have been operating out of this Faridabad 121003 address for quite some time now. We sell a bit of everything, but we definitely have more beauty products and soaps than some of the other general stores around this area. It is a small shop, so we have to use every single bit of wall space to hang things up on hooks. You might have to squeeze past a plastic crate to get to the very back of the store. We don’t mind the cramped space, and most of our customers are used to it by now. The street outside is usually full of parked bikes and people walking. We spend a lot of our time talking to the regulars about what is going on in the neighborhood. It is not just about selling things, it is about being a part of the local market life. We open the doors early to catch the people who are heading off to work. Sometimes the shelves look a bit empty if the supply truck doesn't show up on time, but we usually have the essentials in stock. We don’t have a big team of workers, just a couple of us who know exactly where everything is stored. It is a simple life, keeping the shop running and making sure there is enough change in the drawer.
