Ram Welding and SPM Industries

Ram Welding and SPM Industries is over at Plot Number 10 in the SSI area. We are really close to St. Joseph Convent School, so we hear the school bells and the kids all the time. It’s right near Market 5 in NIT. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with metal scraps and machines we are building. We do a lot of welding and make special purpose machines for other factories. It’s heavy work and it gets pretty hot in the summer with all the sparks flying around. We aren’t really the type to have a fancy office with a sofa. Most people who come here just stand in the workshop and talk to us while we work. The floor is concrete and always has some oil or dust on it. We have a small team of guys who have been welding for years. Sometimes the machines act up or a part doesn't fit right, and we have to spend hours figuring it out. We don’t mind though. It’s just what we do every day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish the jobs we have and go home to our families. Some days are longer than others when a big machine needs to be finished. We just keep at it and get the work done.
