Rajeev Steels is located at B-146 in the Nehru Ground area of Faridabad N I T. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and it’s a fairly well-known part of the city for people looking for building materials. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the storage area for the steel and a small desk where we handle the billing and the phone calls. Dealing with steel in Faridabad means you are always dealing with a lot of dust and the heat from the sun hitting the metal stacks in the yard. It gets really hot in the summer, and the yard feels like an oven sometimes when you are out there. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. Usually, people just come by because they are building something nearby and need a specific type of steel bar or plate for their construction. We spend a lot of our time checking the weight of the loads and making sure the delivery drivers know where they are going. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication throughout the day. Some days the yard is quiet and we just do maintenance, and other days there are three trucks waiting to be loaded and everything feels like a huge rush. We just try to keep the inventory straight and make sure we don't make mistakes with the orders. It’s a straightforward business, and we like keeping it that way without any extra corporate fuss.
