R. D. Multitools Pvt. Ltd. is out at Ssi Plot No.8, right near N.H.5 in the Nit area. It’s an industrial spot, so there’s plenty of trucks and heavy machinery moving around all the time. Our place is basically a workshop and a small office space combined. It’s nothing fancy, just some brick walls and a tin roof in parts. We deal with various tools, so there’s always a bit of grease and metal dust around. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. Most of the staff have been with us for a long time, so we all know how things work. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We usually have our sleeves rolled up and we’re busy with something on the floor. The noise from the highway is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few days. Sometimes customers drop in, and we just talk to them right there in the middle of the workspace. We don’t have a proper showroom or anything like that. If you want to see something, we just pull it off the shelf or show you what we’re currently working on. It’s straightforward work. We don’t use big words or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be fixed or made and get to it. It’s just us doing our thing at Plot No.8, and that’s how we’ve always done it.
