R D Engineer

R D Engineer is tucked away on the ground floor of Ashoka Enclave Main in Sector-35. Being in Faridabad means there is always a lot of hustle and bustle right outside the door. We took this D-14 spot because it was convenient for bringing in materials without having to climb stairs. It’s a basic engineering setup. We have our benches and our tools, and that’s about it. No one here wears a suit. We wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. Haryana gets really cold in the winter and incredibly hot in the summer, so our little ground-floor space sees a lot of weather changes. We just keep the doors open when it's nice and huddle inside when it's not. Most of our work comes from the local industries or people living in the enclave who need a hand with something technical. We don't make big promises or use fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at the job and tell you if it can be done. Sometimes we have to say no if it’s too big for our space, but usually, we find a way to make it work. It’s a small team, just a couple of guys who have been doing this for years and don't really want to do anything else. The coffee is usually strong and the days are usually long.
