Powal Machinery & Spare

We’re located at D-14 in Nehru Ground, right in the NIT area. It’s a busy market spot, and Powal Machinery & Spare is usually packed with all sorts of metal bits and pieces. We sell spare parts for machines, so our shelves are sagging under the weight of gears, bolts, and specialized tools. It’s a bit of a maze inside. If you ask for something, we usually know exactly which pile it’s buried under. The NIT area is always humming with people looking for this or that. We get a lot of walk-ins, people who’ve had a machine break down and need a quick fix. It’s a lot of talking to customers and trying to figure out what part they actually need based on a blurry photo or a broken piece they brought in. The shop is dusty, and there’s always a stack of invoices on the counter that needs filing. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished sales pitch. We just know our parts. Sometimes the heat in Nehru Ground is pretty bad, but we keep the fans going and just keep working. It’s a local business, and we’ve known some of our customers for decades. They come to us because they know we’ll give them the right part without any fuss. It’s just us, the spares, and a lot of daily talk about how things are running. We stay busy from morning until we close up the shutters.
