Panchal Perforators is situated on G T Road in Hodal, specifically in Adarsh Colony. Being right on the main highway means there is always a lot of noise and dust coming in from the traffic. We specialize in perforated metal sheets, which means we spend all day punching holes into steel and aluminum. The machines are quite old and heavy, and they make a rhythmic thudding sound that you can hear from the street. We have a small team of local men who handle the loading and the operating. It is a very specific type of work, and we have been doing it for years. The yard is usually stacked with different gauges of metal. We have to be careful when moving them because the edges are sharp. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to answer phones professionally. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to the desk picks it up. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused, especially during the long afternoon shifts. Sometimes a customer wants a strange hole pattern, and we have to spend hours adjusting the dies to get it right. It is tedious work but it feels good when the sheet comes out looking clean. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a local business on the side of the road trying to keep the machines running and the orders moving for our clients.
