Packaid Machinery

We operate out of Sector-17, at number 1048. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to some of the industrial zones, but we keep busy enough. Packaid Machinery is basically a workshop where we deal with all kinds of packing equipment. There’s usually a machine partially taken apart on the floor so we can see what’s wrong with it. We’ve got benches covered in tools and spare parts. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We learned the trade by getting our hands dirty, and that’s still how we do things today. Most of our day is spent listening to the sound of motors and checking belts and gears. If someone calls with a problem, we usually just head over or have them bring the part in. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon. If a part is broken, we say it’s broken and we fix it. The coffee here is pretty bad, but it gets us through the afternoon. We like being in Sector-17 because it’s easy to get to and there’s enough space for the trucks to load and unload without blocking the whole road. It’s a simple setup for a simple business. We just like making things work again.
