Om Industrial Placement

Om Industrial Placement is situated at C-16, Staff Quarter, Safderjung, New Delhi. Being in the staff quarters area makes the vibe very different from the usual commercial blocks in the city. It is a bit more lived-in and honest. We deal with industrial placements, which means we spend our time talking to workers and factory owners. It is gritty work sometimes, and our office reflects that. We have sturdy furniture and plenty of space for people to sit while they fill out forms. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to get around to it. Delhi is always moving fast, and we try to keep up from our little corner here. We start early because the industrial world doesn't wait for anyone. The sounds of the city are always in the background. We don't have a receptionist; whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We keep a big water cooler in the corner because people are always thirsty when they arrive from the bus stop. It is a straightforward operation. We don't use big words or make promises we can't keep. We just look at what a person can do and see where they might fit. It is about helping people find a way to earn a living, plain and simple. Every day brings someone new with a different story to tell.
