New Tech Moulds

Out on Dabua Pali Road, you’ll find our place at Plot No. 58. New Tech Moulds is basically a workshop where we spend our time making moulds for different industries. It’s a gritty kind of environment, with the sound of machines running most of the day. There is always a bit of oil on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. We aren't tucked away in a clean office building; we are right there on the shop floor where the work happens. My clothes usually have a few stains by the end of the shift, which is just part of the job. We have a small crew of guys who know how to handle the equipment. We don’t really do much advertising. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the Dabua area who need something specific made. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back so we can finish the job. It’s not a glamorous life, but there is something good about seeing a finished mould ready to be used. We keep the gates open during the day so the breeze can come through, otherwise, it gets too stuffy inside. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the pieces fit. It’s a simple operation, run by people who like working with their hands. We just do the work and let the results speak for themselves.
