Working out of Ssr Corporate Park on Main Mathura Road means we are right in the thick of things. Our office is at Plot No. 804, which is pretty easy to find since it is right opposite the NHPC Metro Station. You can hear the trains pulling in and out if the windows are open. At Motiprabha Infratech Pvt. Ltd., the day usually kicks off with a bit of a rush as everyone tries to beat the NH2 traffic. It’s a loud area, but you get used to the hum of the city after a while. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to contractors about various infrastructure bits. There are always blueprints spread out on the big table in the back room. Sometimes the tea guy is late, and that’s the biggest drama of the morning. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We deal with a lot of technical stuff that would probably bore most people, but it’s what keeps the lights on. Seeing the metro station across the street reminds us how much the area has grown. We’ve been here long enough to remember when the commute was much harder. Now, it’s just part of the daily grind. We grab lunch from the local stalls nearby and then get back to the spreadsheets and site plans until the sun goes down.
