Mohit Steels

Mohit Steels is over at B-548 in Nehru Ground. This is the NIT part of the city, and if you have ever been here, you know how packed it gets. There are shops, cars, and people everywhere you look. Our place is tucked into that busy landscape. It is not a quiet office. You can hear the sounds of the market and the traffic constantly through the door. We deal with steel, so there is always a bit of clanging and banging going on when things are being moved or loaded. The space inside B-548 is used mostly for storing what we need and having a small spot to sit and talk to customers who walk in. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with ledgers and metal samples lying around on the desks. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations or expensive furniture. The walls are what they are. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood. We talk to them like neighbors, not like some corporate entity with a script. There isn't a manual for how we answer the phone. We just tell people what we have in stock and how much it costs. Some days the heat in Nehru Ground is really intense, and the fans in the shop just move the warm air around, but we keep going. It’s a straightforward business. We don't pretend to be more than a local steel supplier in a crowded market.
