Metal & Forming Industries

We are Metal & Forming Industries, located at number 147 in Sector 24 of Faridabad N I T. This area is mostly factories and workshops, so we fit right in with the surroundings. Our building is a large shed made of corrugated metal and brick. It stays cool-ish in the mornings, but by midday, it gets pretty warm inside. We have several large presses and forming machines that take up most of our space. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear over the years. We don't spend money on making the place look modern. We'd rather keep the machines running properly. A typical day starts with oiling the equipment and checking the raw material we have in stock. There is always a lot of clanking and humming noise, so we’ve all gotten used to speaking a bit louder than normal. We have a small corner with a table and a few chairs where we sit for lunch or to talk about the day's schedule. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the machines inside out. Sometimes things break down, and we have to spend a few hours fixing them ourselves. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s steady. We don't go in for big marketing or advertisements. People around the sector know where we are if they need something formed. We just stay focused on the metal.
