Down on Main Mujesar Road at number 299 in Faridabad N I T Sector 24, you’ll find Metafab Engineers. This isn't an office job. We’re an engineering and fabrication shop, so it’s usually loud with the sound of cutting and welding. The air usually smells a bit like hot metal. We work on various projects, mostly making parts or structures based on what the client needs. Our space is filled with machines, workbenches, and stacks of raw material. It’s a practical environment where we focus on getting the measurements right. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes covered in a bit of dust. We’ve been in this sector for a long time, so we know the industrial side of Faridabad very well. We handle small batches and sometimes larger orders, depending on who walks in. It’s steady work that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Our work usually speaks for itself, and word of mouth keeps us busy. Sometimes the drawings are complicated and we have to spend a lot of time figuring out the best way to build something. It’s a bit of a puzzle every day. We just enjoy the process of taking a piece of metal and turning it into something useful for another business or a local project.
