Manoj Bartan Store is located right at Ambedkar Chowk in the Main Market of Bhudutt Colony. If you are looking for us, just look for the tall stacks of steel and brass. We have pots and pans everywhere, sometimes even spilling out onto the sidewalk when we get a big new shipment. It is a bit of a maze inside the shop. We have been selling kitchenware here for a very long time. People come in looking for everything from small spoons to giant cooking pots for weddings. The market is always loud, and being near the chowk means there is constant movement and traffic. We do not have a computer system; we still write down most of our sales in a big paper ledger. Our hands are usually a bit metallic-smelling from handling the goods all day long. We have a small wooden stool behind the counter where we sit when things finally slow down in the evening. It is a family-run kind of vibe. We know which lids fit which pots even without looking at them. Sometimes a customer will spend an hour picking out just the right pressure cooker or a set of plates. We do not mind at all. It is just part of the job. The shop gets quite hot in the afternoon, but the metal stays cool to the touch. We like being in the heart of Bhudutt Colony.
