Manish Sales

We are over at 2A / 84 in the N.I.T area. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. Manish Sales started out as a tiny operation and we’ve just stayed in this same spot ever since. The shelves are pretty crowded with all sorts of stock. We don't really have a system for where everything goes, but we usually find what a customer needs after a bit of looking. The neighborhood is always noisy with people walking by and cars honking. It gets quite crowded on the weekends. We don’t spend much on decorating the place; we’d rather just have the items people are looking for. Most of our day is spent talking to regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know we’ll give them a fair price and not try to talk them into something they don't need. It’s just a basic sales job. We open up early and close late most nights. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, and the floor is a little uneven in the back, but it’s our space. We like being part of the local market here. There’s no big corporate vibe, just us and the goods we sell. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble. We don't mind the long hours because there is always someone new to talk to. Even when it’s raining hard outside, we keep the shutters open and wait for the next person to walk in.
