Madame Store

Our shop, the Madame Store, is located in the Vardhman Central Market over at Jaidev Park. We are at unit G-33. The market is a busy place with a lot of different shops squeezed together. It’s the kind of spot where you can find almost anything if you look long enough. Our space isn't huge, but we make the most of it. We have clothes hanging everywhere and some mirrors on the walls so people can see how things look. Most of the time, it’s just one or two of us working. We start the day by pulling up the shutters and setting out a few things near the door. Jaidev Park has a lot of families living nearby, so we see a lot of the same faces. It’s nice to recognize people when they walk in. The market can get a bit loud with all the chatter and the sound of scooters. We don't have a fancy sound system or anything, just the natural noise of the neighborhood. Inside, we try to keep things easy to find. It’s not a high-end boutique with velvet curtains; it’s a practical shop for everyday shopping. We spend our afternoons sorting through new stock or helping someone find a specific color. When the market lights come on in the evening, the whole place feels different. We usually stay open until most of the other shops start closing. It’s a good little community to be part of.
