We set up Koyka Electronics over in Tirkha Colony a few years back. Our place is at F 121, right on Tigaon Road in Ballabhgarh. It is a decent-sized space, but it fills up fast when we have a lot of components coming in. Most of the guys here are from around the neighborhood. We spend the day working on circuit boards and different electronic parts. It gets pretty hot in the summer, even with the fans going full blast, but we just get on with it. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers. It’s just a small group of us who know how to put things together. Sometimes the deliveries from Faridabad get delayed because of the traffic on the main road, which can be frustrating. We try to keep a good stock of what we need so we don't run out. The workbench is usually covered in soldering irons and wires. It looks like a mess to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it's just me answering the phone and writing down what people need. We’ve had some tough months, but we always figure out a way to keep the lights on and the work moving. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town and we appreciate the local folks who stick with us through the years.
