We've been at Plot No.-284-285 in Sector-24 for a while now. Faridabad is a busy place, especially this part of Haryana where there's always something being built or fixed. At Kbeera Hydraulic Engineers Pvt Ltd, the days usually start early. You can hear the machines humming long before the sun gets too hot. Most of us here have grease under our fingernails by lunch. It’s a workshop environment, nothing fancy like those big offices in Delhi. We deal with hydraulic parts and systems mostly. People bring in pumps or cylinders that have seen better days. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy with oil, but that's just how it goes when you're working on heavy stuff. We’ve got a core group of guys who know these machines inside out. If a valve is sticking or a seal has blown, someone here has seen it a hundred times before. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we’re checking an order. Usually, we’re out on the floor with a wrench in hand. The traffic around Sector-24 can be a bit of a nightmare during shift changes, but we’re used to it. We keep things simple. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone busy at a workbench. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get things back to the customers so they can get back to their own work. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here in Faridabad every day.
