Universal Engg. Works

We are over at Plot No. 3778 in S.G.M. Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to Raja Chowk, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop is a typical engineering unit. We have our machines set up and there is usually a lot of noise from the grinders and welding sets. We do all kinds of fabrication and repair work. It is a busy place and we don't always have time to keep it looking neat and tidy. There are piles of iron and steel in the corners and the workbenches are always full of tools. We are just a small team of workers who know our way around a welding torch. People from the neighborhood bring in broken gates or bits of machinery that need fixing. We don't have a corporate structure; the owner is usually right there on the shop floor with the rest of us. The area around Raja Chowk is always full of people and vehicles, so it feels very lively. We have been operating from this plot for years and have seen the neighborhood grow quite a bit. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take the measurements, cut the metal, and join it together. It’s a basic life but it keeps us going and we like being part of the local S.G.M. Nagar community every single day.
