K. D. DOWLS & KEYS

Our place is 9-A in Sanjay Colony, over in Sector 22. K. D. DOWLS & KEYS is a name we’ve used for a long time now. We are right in the middle of 22-Sector, which is a pretty active area with plenty of other small businesses around. The workshop isn't very big, but it fits everything we need to get the day’s work done. We spend most of our time at the workbenches. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, but we don’t mind the routine. There’s something nice about knowing exactly what your day is going to look like when you walk in. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to handle social media. It’s just us doing the physical work. Sometimes the floors get a bit cluttered with metal shavings, but we clean up when we can. Sanjay Colony has been a good home for us. We’ve seen other shops open and close, but we just keep doing what we do. We don’t make big promises or use fancy words to describe the business. It’s just dowls and keys and the machines we use to make them. If you come by Sector 22, you’ll see we’re just a regular bunch of people working hard. We’re not trying to change the world; we’re just trying to run a decent shop.
