I Kidz Play School

You can find us at House Number 1505, Block E, in Sector 49 of Faridabad. I Kidz Play School is basically a converted house where we have made space for little children to spend their mornings. It is a quiet residential block for the most part, except for when the kids are outside playing. We have got some slides and swings in the small yard and the rooms inside are painted with bright colors. It is a very local operation. We don't have a big corporate office or a board of directors. It is just a few of us looking after the toddlers and teaching them their ABCs and numbers. Most of the parents who bring their kids here are our neighbors from around Sector 49. We spend a lot of time wiping noses and helping with lunch boxes. It is a lot of work but it is nice to see the children making friends for the first time. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate what the kids need to do. They just need to play and learn how to be around other people. The place feels more like a home than a school, which is how we like it. On rainy days, it gets a bit cramped inside, but we make do with stories and drawing. It is just a small, friendly place for the little ones in this part of town.
