Eurokids

Eurokids is situated on the ground floor of C-3160 along Surajkund Road in Faridabad Sector 27C. Since we are on the ground floor, it makes it quite easy for parents to drop their little ones off without having to climb any stairs. The place used to be a regular house, so it has that kind of feel to it, which helps the younger children not feel too scared. We have painted the walls with some bright colors and put up some charts with the alphabet and numbers. There is a small area outside where we have a swing and a slide, but it’s not huge. Inside, the floors are covered with those foam mats so if a child trips, they don't get hurt too bad. We spend our mornings doing rhymes and some basic drawing with crayons. It can get very noisy with ten or fifteen toddlers all in one room, but that is just part of the job. We have a small kitchen area where we keep the water bottles and lunch boxes organized. The staff consists of local women who have been working with kids for a long time. We stay open until the afternoon when the parents come back to pick them up. The traffic on Surajkund Road can be a bit much during peak hours, but our gate stays shut for safety. It’s just a practical little preschool for the families who live around this part of Faridabad.
