Apple Seeds Preschool

Down in Sector 21C, Faridabad, you’ll find us at number 899. Apple Seeds Preschool is a pretty modest place, right in the heart of the residential area. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood knows us well. It’s basically a house that we turned into a space for children. We have different rooms for different age groups, but everything is pretty close together. You’ll see a lot of scribbles on the papers we hang up. The floor is usually covered in blocks or plastic animals by ten in the morning. We don’t have a massive budget for fancy gadgets, so we just stick to the basics like stories and drawing. The teachers here have a lot of energy, which you need when you’re surrounded by three-year-olds. It gets a bit messy, especially during lunch or when we do finger painting. There’s a small outdoor area where they can get some air, but mostly we are inside. We know most of the parents by name since they live just a few blocks away. It feels more like a community center than a formal institution. We don’t put on airs about being the most advanced school around. We just provide a safe spot where the kids can be kids for a few hours. It’s a simple routine of songs, snacks, and a little bit of learning before they go home for their afternoon naps.
